Had brunch here, the service was impeccable. We didn’t have to wait to be seated but it was very busy, our server was attentive despite being busy. We appreciated how polite he was. The food was fantastic.
I'm a heavy set, hungry dude I love good drinks and decadent food This diner has a local vibe, and a real chill mood The second I saw the menu, my eyes were glued The English muffins are crisp yet soft The butter melts fast when you top it off My waiter, Alex was managing the bar Yet still had time to give me five star Service with responsive attention The menu is a genius Cajun / Southern invention I Door Dashed the chicken waffles, after surgery And they were so good, it gave me an urge to see The menu in person, so I drove on by The Mardi Gras omelette caught my eye Chives, spices, shrimp, sausage, crawfish I got emotional, as in front of me, sat all this I was blown away by the speed it delivered Temperature inside was fine, never sweated or shivered Drinks were noticed and refilled on the spot I was eager to pay them every dollar I've got I got the hollandaise on the side As other diners tend to serve it over-applied Alex brought the perfect amount And honestly, the smell of it all watered my mouth I had potatoes on the side, with some salt and pepper Ketchup with an omelette always makes it better The table was clean, and my plate set the perfect scene You can review my photo to see what I mean I'm moving away soon, but I'll always be a breakfast fiend You can jog by the Navy base, and get another broken leg But I'll take this Snorlax belly, and Another Broken Egg Shout out to Alex, and DEFINITELY the cook
This was our first visit at Another Broken Egg. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We were also impressed by the not so traditional menu of breakfast items. We both tried the shrimp and grits, which was seasoned to perfection; however, it was a little soupier than we would have liked and the bacon sprinkles were missing on the top such as in the pictures on the menu and from previous guests. Also my husband ordered the recommended Arnold Palmer peach tea, which had an upcharge and was not good, so he asked for the raspberry tea as I had but was not told that he would be charged because it was a different beverage. Understood that he should have mentioned that he was not fond of the first drink, so still we highly recommended this eatery.
I ordered the Strawberry Pound Cake French Toast. It was delicious. Those dining with me ordered the Floridian Omelette, Bourbon Pancakes, and Brunch Duo with Crab Cake Benedict and Jambalaya. They all raved about how good their meals were. Our server was Alex. He was the best! Very personable, friendly, and even madr individual interaction with each person in our party. We would come back just to see him.
I have work in customer service for a lifetime and i love it. I treat people how I like to be treated. Starting with, if the restaurant have plenty of empty tables inside and outside, why don't they ask? We were a party of 5- 2 adults and 3 kids. The hostess inside (front) decides without asking where we like to sit!! She seats us outside, But any other person, she would ask (white people) . What kind of service or preference is that? We were waiting for at least 30 minutes. I went to ask if we could get sit inside, and she did make a face. After that, everything came smoth. Our server was great, and the food was very tasty. Can't complain Please is this helpful? Give me a or
We went here for brunch, and this is probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I had the Salmon Benedict and loved it, but my siblings loved their Lobster and shrimp omelet, too. The inside was cute and clean, and the service was great. I'm already making plans to go back.
I had the southwest omelette. It came with salsa and guacamole on the side and two tortillas. I upgraded my side for the city grits. I added Tallulah to my eggs and they were perfect! The city grits were kind of cold, but the flavor was good. The surface wasn't bad. It seemed like the one girl wanted to get out of there so quickly. I would definitely go back and try this place again. Oh and it was extremely busy!
